The Golf Tournament is something that the Hope Mills Kiwanis Club does every year. It is the biggest fundraiser that the club has and really supports the club throughout the year. It is vital that it be a success every year because without it, the club would not be able to provide to the kids like we have done in the past. We have done the golf tournament since 1997 and hope to continue to do it for a long time.
It is functions like these that gets us involved in the community and have a good time doing it. 2007 was definitely a very special year. In the 10 years so far doing it, this was the 1st time ever that anybody had hit a hole in one and won that prize for that hole. Scott Potter of Pope Air Force Base did it and won the top prize, $5000 Congraluations Scott!
